Third Aviation & Environment Summit, 22-23 April 2008, Geneva
Our vision is to achieve carbon neutral growth and to eventually become carbon-free. This vision is supported by a four-pillar strategy based on technological progress, infrastructure enhancements, operational improvements and suitable economic instruments.
The 2008 Aviation & Environment Summit provided the opportunity for the entire industry, as well as regulators and representatives of civil society, to further develop the vision and strategy, to assess progress and to agree on future action. This was expressed in the signing of an industry-wide declaration.
