Aeroports de Paris and environmental partners
Aéroports de Paris and environmental partners
Aéroports de Paris builds, develops and manages airports including Paris-Orly, Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Le Bourget.
Did you know?
- ADP is the second largest European airport group in terms of airport turnover and the largest European airport group in terms of cargo.
What are we doing?
- As part of their work on the environment, Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly airports opened their Environment Partners Clubs in 2003 and 2005 respectively.
- The purpose of these structures is to commit companies operating at the airports to implement Environmental Management Systems covering their operations and to thereby make Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly truly environmentally friendly airports.
- Today, these clubs, in addition to offering a resource centre for best environmental practices, are becoming the new driving forces behind the airport Environmental Management Systems.
What is the result?
- Today around a third of employees at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport work for companies with an Environmental Management System.
